Record an area

To record a region on your screen, just click on Area . Select the rectangle of your screen you would like to capture with the picker in the next step. When you're ready, click Start recording .

Currently, Rapidemo can only capture the primary display. Support for multi-monitor setups is planned for an upcoming update.

You might see a warning when downloading or installing Rapidemo. Sorry about that!

The reason for this warning is that Rapidemo is still new and it's code signing certificate needs to build trust. Unfortunately this isn't as easy as it sounds - I've documented the journey a bit on X if you're interested.
