Zoom customization
Last updated:
Edit effect details like zoom level, mode and timing in the Zoom properties. Customization works for automatic and manually created zoom effects.
Rapidemo creates zoom animations automatically by analyzing your cursor movement. Every automatic zoom is a regular Zoom element on the timeline: add, remove, retime and retune them freely.
Follow cursor and manual zooms
The zooming mode defines how the animation behaves. Follow Cursor zooms pan across the screen recording to make sure the cursor is always visible. Manual Zoom lets you define a static focus point to zoom in on.
Zoom level and blur effect strength
The zoom level determines how far the video zooms in.
If two adjacent Zooms have different zoom levels, Rapidemo animates the transition between them.
By default Rapidemo adds a subtle blur effect to each Zoom to make the video look more dynamic. Adjust the Effect Strength with the slider.
Intro and outro durations
The intro and outro durations control how quickly the animation zooms in and back out. Shorter durations feel snappier; longer ones feel smoother.
Camera zoom
Rapidemo reduces the size of the camera overlay during zooms so it covers less of the screen recording. Change how much with the Camera Zoom Level slider.
If two adjacent Zooms have different camera zoom levels, Rapidemo smoothly transitions between them.
