Exporting

Last updated:

Render your finished project as an MP4 video. Choose aspect ratio, resolution, FPS and quality, queue multiple exports, and share the result via a link.

To make sure Rapidemo works properly, keep your GPU drivers up to date. If you have multiple GPUs (e.g. integrated graphics and a dedicated GPU), please update all of them. Read more.

Open the exporter

Click Exports at the top of the editor, or press ctrl e, and the export window appears. While exports are in the queue, the button becomes a dropdown: New starts another export, and Render queue opens the queue with a live progress bar.

Exporting requires an activated license. Recording and editing are free to try.

Export configuration

Exports are MP4 files (H.264 video with AAC audio). Rapidemo remembers your last-used configuration as the default for the next export.

The New render window: aspect ratio, resolution, frame rate, quality and the Shareable Link section

Select the aspect ratio for the export. It corresponds directly to the aspect ratio preview in the editor, and Rapidemo adjusts your project automatically, so you can export the same video in several formats with little extra editing.

Resolution is the width and height of the final video, up to 4K. The available values update when you change the aspect ratio.

Frames per Second (FPS) controls how smooth the final video looks. A 30fps video looks less smooth but renders in about half the time of a 60fps video.

Quality sets the video and audio quality in five levels, from Very low to Very high. It doesn’t change the render time; to render faster, lower the resolution or FPS.

Export queue

Exports run in a queue. Start one or more exports, for example the same project in 16:9 and 9:16, and monitor their progress while they render one after another. The queue spans projects too: queue exports from one project, switch to another and add more, and they all render in turn.

Cancel, remove or play a render from the queue, or reveal the finished file in File Explorer. Renders continue in the background when you close the exporter window.

Share the result

Switch on Generate link before you render to get a shareable link you can send right away, even before the export finishes. You can also publish the exported MP4 file wherever you like.
