Camera and microphone

Optionally you can record video and audio with your camera and microphone and add it to the screen recording. In the final video your webcam footage will appear as an animated overlay and enable features like subtitle generation.

To enable the webcam, just select Record webcam before recording. You will see a preview of your camera in the app.

Microphone audio only

Sometimes you might want to just record an audio voiceover without the camera.

Record webcam , and then click on Camera settings below the preview. Here you disable the camera (or the microphone) using the toggle.

Cameras, microphones and media tracks

The In the webcam settings you can choose which camera and microphone devices to use.

If the selected camera or microphone includes multiple media tracks, additional dropdown menus allow you to select the tracks you want to record.
