Rapidemo
Recording

As soon as you open Rapidemo, it launches the recorder. Choose what to record, add your camera and microphone, write notes and start recording.
To make sure Rapidemo works properly, keep your GPU drivers up to date. If you have multiple GPUs (e.g. integrated graphics and a dedicated GPU), please update all of them. Read more.
Rapidemo opens on the New Recording tab of the start screen. The other tab, Open Project, lists your recent projects.
Choose what to record
Record the entire screen, a specific window, or a rectangular area of your screen.
Add your camera, microphone and system audio
Select a camera and microphone with the dropdown menus, and enable system audio to capture your computer’s sound. Rapidemo remembers your device selection for the next recording.
Write notes
Write notes or a script before recording and read them from a floating overlay that never appears in the video.
Start recording
Click Record. You can pause, resume and cancel while recording. See Start, stop and pause.
Recording settings
The capture FPS, the default system audio device, and the recording backends (capturer and encoder) are configured in the Settings. Your camera and microphone are selected right here in the recorder.
