Create Masks to hide sensitive information like emails or customer data in your videos.

Create and edit masks on the timeline

You create and edit Masks on the timeline, like the other elements.

Click Enable masking mode on the left of the timeline to minimize the other timeline elements.

Create a new mask by double-clicking an empty part of the timeline, or right-click and select New. Move the mask element and drag its edges to adjust its timing and duration.

Select the blurred area and customize the mask

Click the Mask element on the timeline to reveal its properties, then click Select area to pick the region that should be blurred.

From the mask properties you can also customize the Blur Effect Strength, Alpha, Border Radius and Fill Color of the Mask.

To see the preview update as you change the region, move the playhead onto the Mask element.

Blur multiple areas at once

To blur several areas at the same time, create overlapping masks.

In masking mode, scroll down to reveal another timeline row, from which you can create the additional masks.
