June 2026 Update
Here's what's new and what's next for Rapidemo. Welcome to the June update!
This June update is a little lighter than usual: I took some time off and spent it in Crete, Greece. I barely touched the laptop, and it was exactly what I needed!

Now I’m back, recharged, and there’s still a good amount to share.
What’s new ✨
📊 The Joiin case study is live
I published the first Rapidemo case study! It’s about how Joiin, a financial reporting SaaS, uses Rapidemo for their support and sales demo videos.
My favorite part: Harry, their Head of Customer Success, used to pay an outside editor £500 per how-to video. Now he records them himself in one take, and by his calculations, a single recording paid for five years of Rapidemo.
If you’re curious how another team uses Rapidemo day to day, read the full case study. There’s also a real example video in there, showing how the auto-zoom handles Joiin’s data-dense application.
🐛 Bug fixes and improvements
Right after coming back from Crete, I shipped a patch release focused on stability.
The big one: recording and preview now work correctly on scaled displays (like 125% or 150%). If you ever ran into issues while recording on your laptop, this one is for you.
Rapidemo also recovers automatically from graphics driver problems now, with a new compatibility mode as a fallback. Damaged project files are handled more safely, and if the editor ever closes unexpectedly, you can simply reopen the project and pick up where you left off.
And a small fix you’ll probably appreciate: the webcam now turns off promptly after recording and stays off.
As always, feel free to check out the full details in the Rapidemo changelog.
What’s next 🔮
Scenes are coming along nicely! The first prototype is done: multiple Rapidemo projects, combined in one timeline, no external editing tool needed.
What’s left before release is the unglamorous part: testing, edge case handling and bug fixing. I won’t promise a date yet, but it’s getting closer.
As always, I’ll post what I’m up to on X!
That’s it for the June update! Let me know what you think. I’ll keep writing these monthly posts to keep you in the loop (and keep myself accountable 😁).
Send me an email or a DM on X if you have feedback.
Talk soon, back to coding! 👨💻
