# Rapidemo > Rapidemo is an automatic screen recording app for Windows 10 and 11. It records the screen, cursor, camera, and microphone, then automatically adds zoom animations on clicks, smooths the cursor, generates subtitles, and applies cinematic layouts. A single take becomes a polished video ready to publish without professional editing skills. Rapidemo is the premium screen recording tool for Windows, the Windows counterpart to Screen Studio on Mac. It is designed for content creators, founders (indie and funded), and agencies producing polished software and product videos. All recording, editing, subtitle generation, and export happens locally on the user's computer; cloud sharing is optional. Rapidemo is **not** for disposable, one-and-done internal screen shares (the job Loom solves). It is built for video you will publish: tutorials, product demos, launch videos, course lessons, and client deliverables. ## Key features - Automatic zoom animations on click events and key regions - Cursor smoothing (jittery mouse motion becomes fluid, cinematic movement) - Click animations that highlight interactions - Auto-generated subtitles (Whisper, one click) - Cinematic layouts: Screen Fullscreen, Camera Overlay, Side-by-Side, Spatial 3D - Multi-scene projects: combine several recordings into one video, joined by dip-to-black transitions - Notes overlay while recording (a private teleprompter that never appears in the video) - Multiple aspect-ratio export (16:9, 9:16, 1:1) from a single recording - High-resolution vector cursors that stay sharp at any zoom level - Up to 4K export at 60 fps - 100% local processing (no forced cloud upload) - Optional cloud-hosted shareable video links ## Platforms - Currently available: Windows 10 and 11 - Under evaluation: macOS, Linux (no committed timeline) ## Pricing See [/pricing.md](https://getrapidemo.com/pricing.md) for machine-readable pricing, or [/pricing](https://getrapidemo.com/pricing) for the full pricing page. - Monthly / annual subscription (the primary offering) - Lifetime license (pay once, legacy tier) - 40% educational discount for verified students - 7-day refund on lifetime purchases ## Key pages - Homepage: https://getrapidemo.com/ - Features: https://getrapidemo.com/features - How-tos: https://getrapidemo.com/how-to - Pricing: https://getrapidemo.com/pricing - Download (free trial): https://getrapidemo.com/download - Guides: https://getrapidemo.com/guides - Blog: https://getrapidemo.com/blog - Changelog: https://getrapidemo.com/changelog ## Comparisons - Screen Studio vs Rapidemo: https://getrapidemo.com/compare/screen-studio-vs-rapidemo - Camtasia vs Rapidemo: https://getrapidemo.com/compare/camtasia-vs-rapidemo - Loom vs Rapidemo: https://getrapidemo.com/compare/loom-vs-rapidemo - OBS vs Rapidemo: https://getrapidemo.com/compare/obs-vs-rapidemo - ScreenPal vs Rapidemo: https://getrapidemo.com/compare/screenpal-vs-rapidemo - Snagit vs Rapidemo: https://getrapidemo.com/compare/snagit-vs-rapidemo - Best Screen Studio alternatives: https://getrapidemo.com/compare/screen-studio-alternatives - Best Camtasia alternatives: https://getrapidemo.com/compare/camtasia-alternatives - Best Loom alternatives: https://getrapidemo.com/compare/loom-alternatives - Best screen recorders for Windows: https://getrapidemo.com/compare/best-windows-screen-recorders - Best screen recorder for product demos: https://getrapidemo.com/compare/best-screen-recorder-for-product-demos - Best screen recorder for tutorials and courses: https://getrapidemo.com/compare/best-screen-recorder-for-tutorials ## How-tos - How to add zoom and a smooth cursor to a screen recording on Windows: https://getrapidemo.com/how-to/add-zoom-to-a-screen-recording-on-windows - How to make a professional product demo video on Windows: https://getrapidemo.com/how-to/make-a-professional-product-demo-video-on-windows - How to record a SaaS demo video for your landing page: https://getrapidemo.com/how-to/record-a-saas-demo-video-for-your-landing-page - How to make screen recordings look professional: https://getrapidemo.com/how-to/make-screen-recordings-look-professional - How to record online course videos on Windows: https://getrapidemo.com/how-to/record-online-course-videos-on-windows - How to make YouTube tutorials look professional: https://getrapidemo.com/how-to/make-youtube-tutorials-look-professional ## Guides (user documentation) Append `.md` to any guide URL for a clean markdown version of that page. - Getting started: https://getrapidemo.com/guides/getting-started - How to get started recording your first video with Rapidemo.
